Deutsche Bank ''planning further corporate finance recruitment''
Those seeking corporate finance jobs in London may be interested to learn that Deutsche Bank is planning to hire between 40 and 50 people to junior mergers and acquisitions roles (M&A).
According to a eFinancialCareers, a spokesperson explained that following the recruitment of 109 professionals in the sector in 2008-09, the focus was now on a "strategic and selective process at a more junior level".
The news source added that Deutsche Bank is not the only firm seeking analysts, as many other financial services groups are doing the same, marking a resurgence in hiring.
Companies appointing people to banking jobs in the City are looking first towards those employed in first tier institutions followed by workers in second tier organisations and then "unemployed first tier analysts".
Banking recruitment in the UK may receive a boost from latest figures showing that the economy returned to growth in the last quarter of 2009, expanding by 0.1 per cent.
