The facility was set up in response to a growing demand for talented individuals to take up
finance jobs in Hong Kong and new employees of UBS who attend will receive training in a variety of related subjects.
These include wealth management, compliance, risk and legislation, with senior managers and external subject experts all delivering the lessons, while it is also hoped research and innovation will thrive on the campus - which is located at Li Po Chun Chambers in Sheung Wan.
Chi-Won Yoon, co-chairman and chief executive officer of UBS in the Asia Pacific region, said: "With its highly-educated talent pool, robust financial services sector and open regulatory environment, Hong Kong is a compelling choice to locate UBS Business University's second campus in Asia."
