PwC appoint corporate finance leader
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has announced it has appointed a new corporate finance leader to head its retail mergers and acquisitions (M&A) team.
Amit Aggarwal is set to take over the corporate
finance jobs in London role at the firm following 15 years of experience in M&A and private equity.
Having previously held senior roles in JPMorgan and Baugur, he was until recently a partner in Retail Partners LLP, an advisory business which he co-founded.
Commenting on the appointment, Stuart McKee, head of M&A at PwC, said the company was delighted Mr Aggarwal was joining them.
"With his prior advisory and private equity experience together with his industry knowledge and relationships in the retail sector, he will add a significant dimension to the team," Mr McKee added.
This new appointment is PwC's second this month, after it announced that Robert Bridson was to join its financial services tax business as a partner, with the role of leading the operational tax services and developing the firm's tax consulting business.
