Is Friday best pay day for Brits with product control jobs in Singapore?

Friday has been revealed to be the best day to get paid, according to the majority of Britons.

In news that those looking for product control jobs in Singapore may agree with, the survey by the Institute of Payroll Professionals (IPP) revealed that nearly two-thirds (65 per cent) of workers felt the last day of the week was the optimum time to get a pay cheque.

In addition, many salaried workers were found to be in luck as 85 per cent of respondents claimed that they would rather be paid monthly than on a weekly or bi-monthly basis.

Furthermore, 33 per cent of employees claimed that they would prefer to get their pay on the last day of the month.

Mr Lindsay Melvin, chief executive of the IPP, said: "Employees may prefer Fridays to get paid because it gives them the opportunity to enjoy the financial rewards of all their hard work over the weekend."

Elsewhere, Phil Flaxton, chief executive officer of Work Wise UK, has claimed that more Britons may find themselves working unpaid overtime as the country recovers from recession, which could convince people to move to a job overseas.
