Part-time finance jobs in London good for business?

People hoping to secure part-time positions in the capital may be interested to learn that one expert believes this form of employment can boost business performance.

The news could be good for those looking for flexible finance jobs in London, with co-founder of social enterprise Bikeworks Dave Miller claiming this model of operation has a number of benefits.

He remarked: "Flexible working is great for any small business, where predicting future growth is not an exact science."

According to Mr Miller, his company often uses part-time staff and this demographic can often be "outstanding and committed" personnel.

It is possible to find some very good candidates if firms are willing to look past the usual recruitment pool of graduates, he went on to say.

His comments followed the publication of recent figures from the Office for National Statistics, which showed the number of people in part-time employment jumped by 115,000 between April and June this year.
