Workers with banking jobs in Hong Kong could cycle to work
The benefits of cycling to work are numerous and far exceed those that first come to mind, one sector commentator has claimed.
Indeed, people with
banking jobs in Hong Kong may wish to get on their bike after hearing the comments of Philip Insall, health director at the sustainable transport charity Sustrans, who said that active commuting is far healthier than getting the bus or train or driving.
In addition to allowing people to exercise, cycling is also a zero-carbon form of travel that can reduce congestion on the roads and allow workers to enjoy some fresh air on their way to the office.
Mr Insall noted that the more people who cycle, the more there would be a collective benefit in terms of health, the environment and money.
Taking a bike to work could be an easy way to stay fit, without taking too much time out of their day.
Such action could be beneficial, after Scottish Widows revealed 45 per cent of people admitted that they do not place as much emphasis on staying physically active as they should.
