Could fun attract people to product control jobs in Singapore?

Rewarding staff by taking them to sports events could help to motivate them in the workplace, one sector commentator has claimed.

Indeed, such incentives may attract people to product control jobs in Singapore, as Andrew Hodgkins, acting managing director at Keith Prowse, claims such schemes can help to reduce stress levels among employees.

"Star employees who have proved their worth over a sustained period can be rewarded with fine dining, superb service and the excitement of an international sporting contest," he adds.

Mr Hodgkins explains that a "relentless" office-based culture and long hours spent at the desk have led to stress among many workers.

In light of this, in addition to offering staff rewards, businesses could also make their premises a more fun place in which to spend time.

Asia One reports that Urban recently examined what is happening in Singapore''s industrial interior design sector and discovered that many workplaces are doing away with traditional fixtures in favour of a more fashionable scheme featuring shared lounges and pantries.
