Finance: Investment Management: Head of Product Control

A major European hedge fund was looking for a Head of Product Control. They expected the position to be difficult to fill as they required a VP/Director level Product Controller with an in depth knowledge of credit, debt and equity products as well as management experience and the ability to interact with the business. Admittedly this was an atypical profile for a Senior Product Control Manager as the norm is to progress through to management in the product area they have always worked within rather than gain cross product knowledge.
